Life-Can Ventilator

EMERGENCY RESPONSE VENTILATOR

LifeCan-One is a portable BVM-based automatic device that enables the operation of a standard manual BVM respirator as an automatic mechanical ventilator. LifeCanOne provides a ventilation solution to patients for an extended period at a stable frequency and volume by generating a controlled mechanic pressure on the BVM bag, at predefined parameters suited for ARDS patients.

Portability

It is a portable BVM-based automatic device that enables the operation of a standard manual BVM respirator as an automatic mechanical ventilator.

Four pre-determined respiration modes, according to covid-19 requirements Maximum pressure 50cm H2O with mechanical failsafe valve.

Volume Frequency I/E Ratio
14 600 1:2:5
18 450 1:2
20 400 1:1:5
26 350 1:1

A manometer provides audio and visual alerts in case of technical failure, high/ low pressure, zero pressure and low battery.

The device is compatible for use, connection and integration into standard hospital tubing and oxygen humidifiers. An optional extension tube includes a one-way valve to prevent dead space

Life- Can connects tothe required safety mechanisms during ventilation including HME filters, PEEP valve, and bacterial/viral filter. The ventilator complies with safety and performance standards for medical electrical equipment IEC 1-60601 and IEC 2014:2-60601. Performance testing conducted with lung simulators.

Operational Modes

The standalone device is designed for electric and battery powered operation. A back-up battery in case of electricity failure is operational for 2-3 hours. Life-Can features a standard battery pack Li-Ion 14.40V / 6.90Ah / 99.90Wh that fulfills JEITA standards, advanced temperature-dependent charging profile, fast charging and with maximized life cycles. The battery is registered with recycling systems worldwide.

Easy to Use

Small and compact , the robust Life-Can ventilator is suitable for use in and out of hospitals, for emergency and rescue services, transport, field hospitals, and for independent operation at patient bedside. The device is also suitable for use in field hospitals, emergency transport and for inter-unit patient transfer.

Affordability

Designed to bridge the gap in situations of a large surge in patients. LifeCan Emergency Ventilators is cost effective in comparison with conventional ventilators. For as much quality as it gives, it costs you little in return.
